March 18, 2009
During tonight’s School Board meeting, Jeff Ferguson shared his plan for another round of personnel cuts that will save the district approximately $1.2 million during the 2009-10 school year. The list includes: 2 central office administrators, 1 building administrator, 2 classified staff, 1 student services staff member, and 8 teachers. Additionally, 4 retiring teachers will not be replaced. 46 employees were cut this school year.
“We are dismantling an excellent school district. Don’t kid yourself. These are cuts going deep into our business of educating kids.” Jeff Ferguson, 03/18/09
